Meet Bex Schimoler, the creative force behind The Learned Lemur. With a BA in Fine Arts and experience managing an art gallery in Chicago’s West Loop, Bex brings a wealth of artistic expertise to her role as partnered owner of The Learned Lemur. Relocating from Chicago to Denver, Bex and her partner Gio embarked on an adventure that led them to establish The Learned Lemur. After navigating the chaos of 2020 and traveling the country for expos, they found their home at 2220 E. Colfax, opening their independent retail location on 8/13/21.

Driven by a commitment to championing local talent and fostering a sense of community, Bex orchestrates fantastical artisan markets and captivating entertainment shows, contributing to the vibrant tapestry of the Colfax community.
