Denver’s First Annual Brides of March Bar Crawl
Charlie’s Denver, Colfax Ave, and the Lavender Hill Cultural District proudly present Denver’s First Annual Brides of March—the most outrageous wedding-themed bar crawl the city has ever seen!
Date: March 15th, 2025
Registration: 2:00 PM at Charlie’s Denver
Event Start Time: 3:00 PM
This 21+ event welcomes everyone, not just women, but there’s one rule—wedding dresses are mandatory! Whether you go for glamorous, gaudy, or totally over-the-top, throw on your bridal best and get ready for a night of champagne, cocktails, and wedding chaos.
The night kicks off at Charlie’s Denver with a bubbly toast and the Brides Relay Race, where participants must dash in 3-inch heels for glory. From there, we’ll crawl to six of the best bars along Colfax Ave, raising our glasses and celebrating like it’s the ultimate wedding after-party.
At 9 PM, the festivities come full circle back at Charlie’s for the biggest and best wedding reception you’ve ever attended—complete with nostalgic wedding music, dancing, bouquet and garter tosses, classic wedding cocktails, and, of course, wedding cake!
Hosted by Charlie’s Denver, Colfax Ave, and the Lavender Hill Cultural District, this event celebrates community, fun, and fabulous wedding-day shenanigans. Whether you’re a blushing bride, a runaway groom, or just here for the party, grab your dress and get ready for a night of bridal bliss and bar-hopping fun.

2024 FIRST ANNUAL HOLIDAY TREE LIGHTING
We are excited to announce the first annual Colfax Ave Holiday Tree Lighting event in partnership with Lavender Hill Queer Cultural District! Join us as we kick off this new tradition with special guest Mayor Mike Johnston. The Denver Gay Men’s Chorus will lead us in festive carols at Park Ave Park (Colfax & Franklin St.), filling the air with holiday spirit. Enjoy warm drinks and tasty treats from local vendors as we gather to light the tree. Afterward, we’ll spread holiday cheer along Colfax Ave as the chorus leads small groups in caroling to local storefronts. This family-friendly event encourages everyone to get outside, walk the neighborhood, and celebrate the season’s warmth together.
