Hailing from Long Island, the Scileppi family is no stranger to the pizza world. After 20 years of operating beloved NY style pizza and traditional Italian restaurants in Connecticut and New York, they decided to take their family recipes on the road, crossing The Mississippi and settling down in the foothills of The Rockies in Denver, Colorado. On January 8, 2012 SliceWorks was born.

Former commercial pilot turned Pizzaiolo, Lou Scileppi is proud to be the local face and principal of Sliceworks. He splits his time between the Colfax and Lodo locations, developing new menu items, chatting with customers, and pitching in wherever his team needs some help.

Lou’s dedication and hard work, have made Sliceworks the sensation it is today. He is proud to call Sliceworks home and looks forward to carrying on the family tradition for many generations to come.
